Estate - Flower cut-out pot

This is an attempt at leaving the potters wheel to try a more complicated shaped slab pot. With an oval base, the wall is cut into the shape of a band of flowers. The I named this one Estate (the Italian word for summer), and put a 01 on it as I want to make more of this kind of pot.   

The upper part is glazed with white tin-glaze, while the base has a copper-glaze, giving it a shifting green and turqoise color. To this I added some colorants to make the flowers differ in color. 

Stoneware, copper- and tin-glaze. Width 175 mm, depth 85 mm, hight 116 mm. NOTE: As this one cracked a little in the firing, I have sealed those cracks in a kintsuge-style, with a coating of real gold leaf (18 carat). Made in spring 2026, exhibited in my June 16 exhibition.
