Field - medium bowl

I tried something a little different on this one, working in a soft-edge dry pastel style, focusing on areas of color rather than immaculate details, resulting in an image of a field or landcape. As you look at the bowl from different angles, the lower and upper parts of the image align differently, due to the difference in diameter between the lower and the upper part of the bowl. I think the effect is rather nice.

The bowl has a rather strict shape, with straight sides curving into a semi-high foot ring. 

Stoneware, tin glaze. Diameter 125 mm, hight 60 mm. Made in spring 2026, exhibited in my June 16 exhibition.
